The Cuba Area Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the City of Cuba is planning the 2010 Independence Day event in Cuba, Missouri.

To assist with this year’s event, the COC is seeking collaborative sponsorships from its members. Local businesses are the key to the success of a community. Please support the annual event by participating in the Independence Day Collaborative Sponsorship Program!

Unique to the event this year will be the advent of a recognition program for local veterans and members of armed forces members. The event will be dedicated to a KIA from the community and held in the honor of our armed forces.

It is the purpose of the Cuba Chamber of Commerce to strive at Advancing the Commercial, Industrial and Civic interests, both existing and new, of Cuba Missouri and surrounding trade area. This Chamber shall be non-partisan, non-sectional, and non–sectarian, and shall take no part in nor lend its influence to the election or appointment of any candidate for state or country or town office. This Chamber is not organized for profit.

The Cuba Area Chamber of Commerce is actively promoting a healthy business climate in Cuba, Mo., which is located about 80 miles southwest of St. Louis on Interstate 44. Over 180 member companies work together to promote economic, small business, organizational, educational, cultural and commercial development sustainability in addition to events of interest to residents and visitors to the city.

The Cuba Area Chamber of Commerce operates the Cuba Visitors Center at 71 Highway P, near the intersection of I-44 and Highway 19. Hours for the Center are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
